Kurtis G. Kent, CEO and Technology Strategist
Kurtis Kent is a seasoned veteran of successful business management and a respected technical engineer. As CEO of ManageWatch, Kurtis is responsible for service delivery and driving the company’s technology vision ahead of the curve. With more than 20 years in the PC networking and service industries, and in managing a family-owned business, Kurtis brings a unique perspective to helping clients use technology to achieve success.
Most of Kurtis’ career has been in technology-based businesses, including software, engineering consulting firms, PC service/VAR, transportation and industrial processes. He has been a founder or early employee of four early-stage companies.
Prior to forming Kent Network Solutions, Inc., DBA ManageWatch, with Sean Teague in 2001, Kurtis was the senior director of engineering for Network Services Now, where he developed and led the strategic technical vision and management for the firm's managed services offering. He held similar visionary roles, including managing network engineering service delivery, at Erapmus Network Services, Inc. from 1997 to 2001, before being acquired by Broad Band Utilities.
From 1992 to 1997, he managed CompUSA technical Service Centers as a regional service center business manager.
Kurtis holds many technical certifications and achievements and has been a leader and visionary for many of his past companies, holding positions from CIO to senior network engineer. Accomplishments include leading the development and implementation of the CompUSA National Technical Service Center best practice and processes program. While at Erapmus, he developed the Network Architect Quality Control and Documentation process to drive efficient, high quality, technically accurate proposals.
His many years of experience have allowed Kurtis to develop and implement a best practice approach to the delivery of network management. He believes efficient, scalable, network management solutions require a constant development and review process. He factors the dynamics of a changing network into ManageWatch’s processes and procedures to ensure client companies remain at the top of their game.
T. Sean Teague, President
Sean Teague is responsible for sales, marketing, finance and operations for ManageWatch. With more than 20 years in the networking engineering and managed service provider industries, he brings a unique blend of business acumen, entrepreneurial experience, technical knowledge and company leadership and vision to ManageWatch. Sean helps clients identify the business and technical requirements that will best meet their strategic business objectives.
Prior to forming Kent Network Solutions, Inc., DBA ManageWatch, with Kurtis Kent in 2001, Sean was strategic business unit president for Broad Band Utilities. He held a similar post at Erapmus Networking Services, Inc. from 1994 to 2001, before it was acquired by Broad Band Utilities. During this time, he helped grow Erapmus into one of the largest technical service providers in Texas, serving many Fortune 500 companies.
Sean also has ownership interests in Resource Domain, an outsourced sales management company and Creative Clinical Marketing, a paramedical marketing company.
Having worked with hundreds of businesses, Sean can quickly identify and assess the areas of need a company may be experiencing and what the right solutions are. He understands business ownership styles differ, but basic business common sense doesn’t.
